Shiva Manasa Puja (Mental Worship of Lord Shiva) is a deeply devotional and philosophical hymn composed by Jagadguru Adi Sankaracharya.
In this sublime stotra, the devotee performs a complete worship ritual (Puja) of Lord Shiva entirely within the mind. The seeker offers the Lord a throne of gems, a bath in pure Ganga water, divine silks, sandalwood paste, flowers, incense, lamps, and a feast of delicious offerings, demonstrating that sincere mental devotion (Bhakti) transcends external materials.
